About Me

After 20 years running exhibitions and events, the covid pandemic hit and the industry ground to a halt overnight. I took on the role of stay at home Dad for my youngest two children. When the world started opening up again I was left looking for something new and this led me to explore different creative outlets. In 2022 I took my first pottery class and it quickly became an obsession.

I took a leap of faith and built a workshop in my garden. It was months of hard work, reclaiming materials and doing all the work myself whilst juggling my youngest child running around a building site – childcare and building by day, then spending time at the pottery studio in the evenings and weekends.

I have spent my adult life living in the Devon and then Buckinghamshire countryside.  While much of my style of pottery has been influenced by the beauty of the British countryside, you will occasionally see glimpses of a more stark style, influenced by wild camping trips at frequently visited Dartmoor, Lake District and the Scottish Highlands.

I produce bespoke, handcrafted pieces and take on commissions. In the future I hope to give one to one sessions on the wheel and share the joy of pottery.
I’m incredibly grateful and humbled that people like my work. I am of course always open to discussing commissions that fit with my style.
